Royal Shih Tzu Puppies Health Guarantee

At Royal Shih Tzu Puppies, we are committed to breeding healthy, happy, and well-socialized Shih Tzu puppies. Our goal is to provide families with healthy companions and peace of mind. The following Health Guarantee applies to every puppy purchased from Royal Shih Tzu Puppies.

1. Veterinary Examination

All puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our care. Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatments, and a complete health assessment.

The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the puppy. Failure to obtain this examination may void this health guarantee.

2. General Health Guarantee

We guarantee that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale. If a licensed veterinarian determines within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery that the puppy had a serious illness or life-threatening condition that existed before the puppy left our care, the buyer must notify us immediately and provide written veterinary documentation.

Upon verification, Royal Shih Tzu Puppies may, at our discretion:

  • Provide a replacement puppy of equal value when available; or
  • Refund the purchase price of the puppy.

Shipping, veterinary, and related expenses are not included unless required by law.

3. Genetic Health Guarantee

We provide a one (1) year genetic health guarantee from the puppy’s date of birth against life-altering congenital or hereditary conditions that significantly affect the puppy’s quality of life.

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a qualifying genetic condition within the guarantee period, the buyer must provide:

  • A written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian;
  • Relevant medical records and test results;
  • Any additional information reasonably requested by Royal Shih Tzu Puppies.

Upon confirmation, we may offer a replacement puppy of equal value. Any replacement puppy will be provided when one becomes available.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain this health guarantee, the buyer agrees to:

  • Provide routine veterinary care;
  • Follow recommended vaccination schedules;
  • Maintain proper nutrition and exercise;
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment;
  • Seek prompt veterinary treatment when needed.

Failure to provide proper care may void this guarantee.

5. Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Minor health issues that are treatable and temporary;
  • Parasites, including worms or coccidia, which are common and treatable;
  • Hypoglycemia resulting from improper feeding or care;
  • Allergies, skin conditions, or environmental sensitivities;
  • Injuries, accidents, abuse, neglect, or improper care;
  • Conditions caused by obesity, poor nutrition, or lack of veterinary care;
  • Veterinary expenses incurred by the buyer;
  • Stress-related illnesses that may occur after transportation or relocation.

6. No Other Warranties

Except as expressly stated in this Health Guarantee, no other warranties, express or implied, are provided regarding the puppy.
